very interesting and very well done, only few parts need more work. if u spend lil more time having accurate perspective (as they are cubes), and lil bit on matching light. that would be cool. the composition is heavy at the left side, i might place something at right to balance it. but in a connecting manner.

Now this is an interesting photo manip! You have a fantastic imagination. I'd never think of this. Would be kinda kewl though if they really was shaped like cubes... would be so much easier to cut them in slices.

That's quite an interesting effect. I really like the overall result! I almost agree with purplerose that it might be a bit more effective if you cut out some of the background and just concentrated on the table and apples and knife, but either way you really nailed it I think!

Very clever! My only critique would be to reitierate that the perspective of the reflection doesn't seem correct in the knife.
